Mixed Open Rules

1. All competitors must be male playing members of a recognised golf club. Bookings can be made online via the website – www.elygolfgolf.co.uk

2. The competition will be a 4BBB Stableford, with a handicap allowance of 85%. The maximum handicap allowed is 28 for men and 36 for women, with 1 score to count on each hole.

3. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning a reason and entry fees will not be refunded on any entry cancelled after 17th August 2022.

4. All disputes will be referred to the Committee for its decision, which will be final in all instances. In the event of a tie or ties, the Rules of Cambridgeshire Area Golf Union will apply.

5. Competitors will be made temporary members of Ely Golf Club for the day. Smart casual dress is allowed in the Clubhouse.

6. Coffee and Bacon rolls plus a two-course meal are included.

7. Players are requested to report to the starter on the 1st tee 10 minutes before their allotted tee time.

8 Entry fees will not be returned if cancellations cannot be replaced.

9. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and starting times will be allocated as soon as entries are received.

10. Private buggies are not permitted at Ely GC. Some Club buggies are available for hire by disabled golfers with an appropriate medical certificate. These buggies must be requested at the time of entry to the competition. Please contact the Pro shop to request a buggy or for full details of the Club’s buggy policy.
