On Monday the 16th of June we will be solid tinning the greens with 8mm tines 150mm deep. They will then be rolled and cut to minimise disruption to golf.
We will be starting on the 10th green working on the back nine to start with and then we will follow the competition on the front nine.
Aeration is a vital part of any management program for greens. It helps to relieve compaction, allows gaseous exchange, improves drainage and helps to break down thatch.
